MCP tools
The tools an AI gets from vando-mcp, word for word as the server describes them.
Optional: most work goes through vando run, which keeps secrets out of the chat. Add the tools only when the AI must read a value itself (see Connect Claude Code). A value a tool returns is in the conversation from then on.
get_secret
Get a secret from the owner's vault. Asks the owner on their phone for one secret (by hint, never by id). Blocks while they decide; the secret is sealed to this machine and appears only in the result, only if approved.

check_approval
Check an open ask. Long-polls an ask you were told to check later. Returns the same envelope as the original call.

cancel_request
Cancel an open ask. Withdraws an ask from the owner’s phone.
